Roland Stålnacke

Cabinet Maker and Craftsman

Wood is my livelihood and strong interest. I have had creative inspiration since childhood. I was shaped by growing up in a creative family in Kiruna and the Torne Valley, by woodwork at school, and by books from the library. In Kiruna three cultures come together: Finnish culture from the Torne Valley, Sami culture and Swedish culture – a wealth to be grateful for. The three of them, as well as all kinds of impressions from near and far, characterise me and my work.
